Danny DeVito Says His Penguin ‘Was Better’ Than Colin Farrell’s

Danny DeVito and his daughter, Lucy, are the most recent victims thrown into Vanity Fair’s hot seat. The hot seat being, of course, the one which sits next to the publication’s famous lie detector test.

The elder DeVito was admittedly nervous about the occasion. “Really weird, because people, especially from—remember, I’m Italian from New Jersey, to be in a room like this, it’s like… I’m terrified,” the actor said before he was ever even hooked up to the test. “I have a tough time wearing a wire. Because, you know, you get caught wearing a wire in New Jersey…” he trailed off, making a cutthroat gesture.
